Why the name Mortechie?

Our coding and design capabilities plus our 10 years experience have given us the tools necessary to give our customers what they are looking for. We don’t just buy pre-designed templates, edit them and call them our own. No, we spend countless hours custom coding and designing from the ground up! You could say that we are technically proficient in meeting the demands of our clients with their start-ups, small and medium sized businesses. So with all of our combined experience we feel we are “more technical” then most, leading to the shortened version of simply Mortechie. Our name sums it up. 

Where does our inspiration come from?

Our website design was influenced by a few different sources including Netlifx’s 2021 website, Canadian rapper Merkules’s 2020 website and the ever so influential Neil deGrasse Tyson’s quest for truth in and outside of our little tiny planet. 

When we construct designs, certainly some our ideas just pop into our head but often that’s not enough. Our designs need to follow certain trends and thresholds to meet and exceed the standards of modern design. Hours, upon hours are spent doing informational research and study of what this online world is doing, what looks good and what works. 

Our first business Phil Benson Productions was opened up in October 2010. There has been many changes made over the last 10 years including what we focus on through our services, designs and constructions.
